We call them “Finger-slots”, some in the tile display industry call them “Waterfalls”. These are popular because they are the most inexpensive way to showcase your samples. They “slip fit” together with no tools and ship flat (saves on shipping costs) These displays are made of  5/8” thick MDF. We keep a large supply of this

material on-hand in black so we can quickly react to large sample board display orders. (but we can order other colors to suit your requirements). Our CNC machining equipment is pumping out these displays 5 sometimes 6 days a week. We keep our standard 10-slot and our 20-slots in-stock but any other slot count is available with a short lead time (usually 1 to 2 weeks).
